"I FELT SCAMMED. I've been debating whether or not to write a review for two weeks now. To begin with, I'd been there once before, they were lovely, the service was great (haircut and eyebrows), and I'd left thrilled, recommending it to all my friends. Last June 20th, I went to get my hair done (I'd made an appointment a few weeks prior, they asked me what style I wanted, and I said waves. They didn't ask why, nor did they need to). When I arrived on the day of the appointment, they asked me what I wanted and started working. Little by little, the conversation ended up talking about (or rather, they interrogated me about) the reason I was getting my hair done: because I was getting married that day (I mean, I was going to sign some papers at the registry office, period). Of course, knowing this didn't make them change the products they were using, the styling method, or even bring out some magic hairspray made of unicorn horn. The hairstyle remained exactly the same, end of story. When they finished (a beautiful hairstyle, that's true, but done in the time they had allotted from the beginning for hairstyles; it shouldn't have taken longer because, as I said, they were doing it exactly as they were doing it before they knew I was getting married that day), the girl who was doing my hair went to collect payment, and the boss told her from afar: "Charge her like a GUEST AT HOME," 90 euros for the hairstyle. A hairstyle for which, as I recall, they didn't even wash my hair, nor did they give me any special treatment, nor were there any trials beforehand, and of course, they didn't do it at my house. 90 euros. Simply because I made the mistake of not lying to their faces and telling them I was going to a lunch. I think it's outrageous. At the time, I didn't protest because I was in shock, but I've been regretting it for two weeks because I think the least I should have done was file a complaint. On the other hand, everyone knows that if they hear the word "wedding," they'll raise the price, and you shouldn't mention it. But honestly, considering they didn't change anything about their work after finding out, and they didn't ask me beforehand what the hairstyle was for or anything like that, I think it's completely outrageous. You know what they say, guys, next time lie so you don't end up like me. In short: it's a great hair salon, they do excellent work, and they're very friendly, but when it comes down to it, they're like everyone else—if they can take advantage of the situation to charge you more, they will. It's a shame, but I'll have to find another salon."
