"This place is the best hands down. After booking our travel from the United States I decided to get a haircut in Rome and I’m so glad I did. I did a lot of research before picking Modafferi Barber Shop and the reviews are spot on. The experience begins the minute you walk through the door and see the level of service they provide and how great everyone’s hair looks as they leave the shop. I told Ivano I wanted to keep the length but have it look good and easy to do. I can honestly say this is the best haircut I’ve ever received and I’ve been to countless barbers in different states. While I was there I had my eyebrows trimmed, beard shaved with cleaned up edges and the facial. Would highly recommend doing it all. You wouldn’t wash your car and not detail the tires and inside so why wouldn’t you give that level of care to yourself. I’m writing this post days after my cut and I’ve been getting compliments on all my posts and in person. His haircuts are so good that after my shower I apply a small amount of gel and I’m ready to walk out the door with great looking hair. "The brothers work at a kind of manic pace but with care and attention. It’s really like watching a bullfight or a ballet. These guys were cutting hair for their father while you were playing Super Mario Brothers in your early teens. Ivano is a genius. The man looked at my reference photo and made my hair look precisely as I wanted and he did it IN FIVE MINUTES. The rest of the half hour was shaping my beard and then perfecting the cut.
