"Edited due to the establishment response: The reception and ladies are very nice and warm. They were so kind to rearrange my appointment a couple times. When I first booked, I walked in and asked to be with the woman who booked me. They moved my appointment to a person that I did not request despite saying I would still be booked with the person I met - quite different than what they are saying in their response to this post. I booked for extra time in advance for a nail to get fixed. The technician said I only needed to file and put polish on it - not fix it - as I have done at every salon before and did so when I got them re-done. The Bahr technician tried her best but the photos speak for themselves. The normal polish took about 25 minutes to dry and I was charged full price. They should have not charged me fully or asked to fix it when I pointed out how it looked whilst I was there. When I went elsewhere for the re-do, they mentioned how poorly the cuticles, file and polish were executed. My nails looked far better before I came in and after I got it fixed somewhere else. Also, there was also a woman who had BAD infected nails (yellow ++) sitting next to me and they reuse the files. In the response below, the owner said they don't reuse the files, but I suggest other clients go in themselves and see if they 'use new files every time'. The rest looked hygienic enough. This review maybe not what you want for others to know @bahr, but it's an honest, client experience. It truly felt like my time and money was wasted."

"I had a lovely morning at Bahr City Spa! I booked a facial and body scrub, and I have to say both treatments were great! Sofia and the other lady who did my facial were professionals, really easy to be in their presence, gentle and knowledgeable. The organization of the place is great, I would have never thought there was such a big treatment space just steps away from the Pantheon!"

"Went for a manicure. Booked a second time for the private spa and a massage Worth every penny. Stayed close by and decided to try them for a manicure and I'm so glad I did! I speak a little Italian and I try to communicate as much as possible (mi dispiace, mio Italiano non bueno 😅 Grazie mille) and the staff were very friendly and understanding. With any country, I always think it's best to be respectful and learn as much of the local language as possible. Claudia was my first introduction to Bahr. She was very understanding of my baby-Italian (Grazie mille, Claudia!) and helped with my mani appointment and have me a short tour of the private spa. Her professionalism and great customer service convinced me to book. Claudia was my nail technician and she was friendly, professional and creative. Great attention to detail and asked what I wanted to get it right. I wanted natural and lasting as I'm travelling for a few weeks. She blended a few colours to get the milky natural colour I wanted. Loved her idea and the nail shape and nail finish. Left my hands looking elegant and soft. My next appointment was with Marianna. Great masseuse. Caring and considerate, she explained everything about the private spa, and was very accommodating when I asked for a slight change to our timings. Hamam treatment was lovely & relaxing. The tailor made massage treatment she gave was incredibly relaxing, I fell asleep... and the creams and essential oils used smelled heavenly. The spa room (as with the rest of the salon itself) was sparkling clean, calming and beautiful. The relaxation room after treatment is dreamy. The atmosphere is gentle & calming. The music, lounges, low lighting, viduals of gentle galaxies was pitched perfectly. Blissful experience. I thoroughly recommend Bahr Spa for their professionalism, warmth, exceptional quality of products, service and amenities. Grazie mille to all the staff at Bahr and especially Claudia and Marianna!"
